IMPERIUMDAILY.COM – JAKARTA – Garuda Indonesia has the latest aircraft with an increasingly large passenger capacity. The Airbus A330-900 Neo aircraft was officially launched by the red plate airline Wednesday (11/27) night.
The Airbus A330-900 Neo aircraft, was launched at Hangar 2 GMF Aero Asia, located at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Cengkareng, Tangerang, Banten. The aircraft is claimed to have a myriad of advanced technology and offers operational cost efficiency.
In his written statement, Managing Director of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA), Ari Askhara said, the use of the new aircraft made in Toulouse, France, is the company’s commitment to present “The New Flight Experience” on each flight.
“Service users can enjoy the added value of comfort with the latest designs,” he said.
This aircraft is claimed to be efficient in operational costs, because its capacity can reach 440 passengers. Based on information from the official Airbus website, the A330 900 NEO series can accommodate 406 passengers for distances of up to 15,090 km. While for mileage up to 13,330 it can carry 440 passengers.
The aircraft is powered by Trent 7000 produced by Rolls Royce. In addition, Airbus claims that this type of aircraft can save fuel by up to 25 percent compared to the previous series.
In addition, the aircraft is claimed to have a wider cabin and LED lighting, has a wider leg room, equipped with entertainment in flight, to wifi internet connection facilities. (kum/li)
