Four-storey building in Palmerah Jakarta collapsed

NUSADAILY.COM-JAKARTA – The four-storey building on Jalan Brigjen Katamso Kota Bambu Selatan, Palmerah, West Jakarta collapsed on Monday, January 6, 2020 morning. The top floor to the second floor of the building sinks.

While the ground floor of the building used as a minimarket does not appear to have been destroyed. Several vehicles seemed crushed by rubble.

According to the local minimarket employee, the estimated time of the building collapse was around 09.25 WIB.

The ruins of the building have been isolated by members of the local police. Firefighters evacuated building occupants.

Until now, the cause of the collapse of the building is unknown.

In the latest report, about three victims were injured due to the incident.

Congestion in the region is also unavoidable due to narrowed roads, for heavy vehicles fire trucks. (ant / yos)
